I believe that a cake should taste as good as it looks, or even better! I bake all my cakes individually to order, using the freshest, highest quality ingredients, from premium flour and conserves, to the finest cocoa and Belgium couverture chocolate, creating wonderfully delicious cakes. They are then drizzled with a homemade sugar syrup, and layered with a delectable filling.
I offer a number of finishes on my cakes, including Belgium chocolate ganache, smooth and textured fondant, as well as naked, semi-naked and buttercream cakes.
Victoria Sponge Cake
Beautifully light Victoria sponge cake, drizzled with vanilla sugar syrup, layered with buttercream and a summer fruit preserve.
Rich Chocolate Cake
A decadent rich chocolate cake layered with a smooth cream cheese chocolate filling.
Lemon Drizzle Cake
Fresh and tangy lemon sponge cake, drizzled with a Limoncello sugar syrup, layered with buttercream and lemon curd filling.
Salted Caramel Cake
An indulgent salted caramel cake layered with a buttercream and salted caramel filling.
Red Velvet Cake
Velvety smooth red velvet cake filled with a soft cream cheese filling.
Orange and Passionfruit Cake
A light orange infused sponge cake, with a delicious passionfruit buttercream filling.
Raspberry and White Chocolate Cake
A light vanilla sponge cake, drizzled with vanilla sugar syrup, stippled with freeze-dried raspberry pieces, and layered with a white chocolate buttercream.
A beautiful rich sponge cake layered with a buttercream and Biscoff filling.
Lemon & Elderflower Cake
Lemon sponge cake, drizzled with a Elderflower sugar syrup, layered with Elderflower buttercream and lemon curd filling.
A rich, flavoursome carrot cake full of raisins, carrots, coconut and spices, filled with a soft cream cheese filling.
Coffee or Coffee and Walnut cake
A vintage coffee sponge cake drizzled with an expresso syrup and filled with a rich coffee buttercream.
Rich Fruit Cake
A traditional rich fruit cake matured and steeped with French Brandy.
If there is flavour you like but is not on my menu, I would be happy to create something for you.
I can offer gluten free cakes, but please note I do not offer dairy free or vegan sponge wedding cakes.
Please note that all my cakes are baked freshly on site in my kitchen. Whilst I do have processes in place to minimise the risk of cross-contamination, I do not have a segregated production/baking area so cross-contamination of ingredients is possible.
I do handle all the main allergens of dairy, nuts, peanuts, gluten (wheat), egg, sesame, sulphates and soya. I therefore cannot guarantee that any cake will be 100% free from allergens, so please let me know at time of ordering if there are any intolerances I need to be aware of.
